Hello and welcome! I’m Valarie Hendrix, and I believe some of life’s greatest blessings are family, faith, and the memories we create together. As a wife, mother, community leader, and proud member of a family rich in history and tradition, I cherish every opportunity to connect with others and celebrate the people who have shaped my journey. I’m glad you’re here and hope you enjoy learning a little more about me and the things that matter most in my life.
My Story
Valarie Hendrix is the granddaughter of the late Naomi and Clinton Goree and the daughter of William Goree and the late Ruby Goree. She lives in Tupelo, Mississippi, with her husband, Anthony, and their son, Logan. Professionally, Valarie serves as the Assistant Northern Regional Director of the Mississippi Department of Employment Security and is a proud, sophisticated member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
She is honored to serve as the Program and Activities Lead for the 2028 Fields-Goree Family Reunion and is grateful for the strong family values and rich legacy passed down through generations. Valarie is excited to reconnect with family while making new memories and experiencing the music, food, and vibrant culture of Nashville.
